Jep, enkuksi kirjoitettu Fanfiction. Kertoo minusta ja Tikasta kun ajaudumme Twilight kirjaan sisälle (kirjaimellisesti).
Olemme tässä 17-vuotiaita, jotta pääsimme samalle luokalle Bellan kanssa. *winkwink*

First chapter: "Oh, I wish.."
Fuji's point of view
It was very normal friday afternoon. We, me and my friend Lucie (her real name is Susanna, but because we don't like our real names, we call each other with our nicknames. Oh, and my real nime is Saara, by the way) were at her house, ready to read Twilight-saga for the thoulsandth time. Lucie and I are really obsessed with this Twilight-saga, we read it (of fanfictions of it) almost every day, and it's nearly the only thing we ever talk about! We're both kind of in Team Werewolves, but we like the Cullens also.
So, we were talking about how cruel was it to Edward leave Bella in the New Moon, when I suddenly got an crazy idea. I looked at Lucie, who was thinking something very hard. Her eyebrows were furrowed, and her blue eyes looked like she was far away from here.
"Luci, what would you think if..", I started and grinned very evilly to her.
"What?", she said, clearly irritated about my unfinished question, glanced at me, and frowned to my very stupid-looking expression.
I have never really liked it when people stared at me, because my self-esteem isn't so good. I'm almost average-looking, 16 years old girl with dark maroon hair, which length is almost as same as Alice Cullen's (I think every Twilight-fan knows what I mean by that). The only difference from the average-look is, I think, my face. I'm not beautiful, I have never been. My skin is almost as pale as vampires, and the thing that I don't usually sleep very long night sleeps, makes me look like vampire even more! I usually have almost dark shadows under my eyes, and I don't try to cover them, because I think it's cool if someone would think that I'm a vampire, and also because I don't use makeup.. (laugh)
And then, my eyes. Oh, yes, my eyes has very strange color: when you look at them fast, you may think you have seen green, emerald eyes, but then, come look little closer and you see that it's nothing like emerald. There's a little hint of gray, maybe blue, and a little bit brown near the pupil. I have always been jealous to those who has beautiful, full green, blue (Lucie belongs to blue-group), or brown eyes, because my eye color is so freak.
And of course, it hasn't been very big help to my self-esteem, that Lucie is so beautiful. I really never fully understand why she started to hang around me when I'm sure that she could have more friends, and better looking friends.. Oh, right. Look isn't everything, and Lucie is so kind and adorable person that I don't know what I would do without her!
Just like I said, I think Lucie is beautiful. Not that kind of beautiful which you see at covers of some snobbish beauty-magazine, but she has natural beauty. Her skin isn't as pale as my, but sure she isn't tanned either. Her eyes are beautiful bluish color, that kind of blue what you see on beautiful and cloudless day at the sky. She sure looks more healthy than me, and you can see why! When she once is asleep, you have to fight hard to get her out of the bed! Lucie's hair color is almost blond, with a little bit darker highlight's. Her hair is about same length as my, with a little bit difference. Her clothes are almost copies of her other clothes, I think she maybe has only hoods and jeans in her wardrobe! And like I said earlier, she really is really very kind person. She, and some others too, says that "I don't see myself clearly", which I think it's hilarious of course, because of Twilight (Edward says perfectly same thing to Bella).
"..What would you think if we would fall into Twilight world? I mean, when every event happens at the book, we could be there seeing it!", I explained to her, excited about the idea. Yeah, I really get excited very easily, because my imagination is so damn good.
"That would be so cool!", I heard her cry. Her eyes had excited glint in them, but then it fade away really fast, and she frowned again and continued, "Though, it really is impossible."
We both sighed. I leaned to Lucie's bed, and she lay down at the floor with her pillows. We both glanced to the Twilight-books at floor, and sighed again.
'Oh, I wish we could be in Twilight.'
Then it all went black.
------------------
Chapter 2: "Whe're at.. WHAT?!"
Next morning I woke up at very annoying dripping sound, which sounded suspiciously like rain. I squeezed my eyelids close more tighter, but then I just noticed something.. Was it raining outside? Raining, water, in Finland? In the middle of WINTER?
My eyes shot open, and I jumped out of bed, only to fall into unfamiliar carpet. I quickly compose myself, and get up.
I glanced around the unfamiliar sigh, this wasn't Lucie's room! I have never seen something like this; first you're at your friend's house, and next moment you wake up at someone else's room! What the heck was going on?
I was slowly starting to hyperventilate, but then I saw Lucie sleeping on the other bed of the room. I slowly walked to the other side of the room, and begin to shake her to wake her up. Of course she didn't wake, what was I expecting?
I sighed and took deep breath. Again, I glanced around the room and this time I saw two suitcases. I open another of suitcases, and to my amazement, it was full of my favorite clothes and stuff. Slowly, I cave the suitcase, and let out a sigh of relief. THE books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn were all there too.
Then my hand got a grasp of some papers, and I slowly pulled them out of the suitcase. My eyes slowly started to recognize the words, and I gasped.
"Dear Fuji. You have been chosen to be one of two exchange student from Finland (to USA), and the another one is your soon-to-be room mate Lucie. You will be living with your host family this year, but if you want, you can get own apartment from somewhere near you future High School. We hope you guys enjoy your year at Washington!"
Washington? USA? Exchange student? Okay, I was panicking now! How the hell we get to Washington suddenly? And how are we going to survive here, we're from Finland, god's sake! Ah, crap, I hope my English is good enough...
Sound of Lucie yawning wake me up from my thoughts. I grasped the letter to my hands, and run to her side.
Lucie scratch her head, and then took a look around. Her eyes widened, and she gasped.
"Lucie, do you remember anything? Anything about going to Washington, about going to be an exchange student??" I question her, and then set the paper in front of her blue eyes.
She frowned, and read the paper. After that, her expression was so comical, that if I wasn't in the so serious situation, I would have laughed.
"What?... no.. impossible.." she muttered, and then glanced around the room. She rise from bed, and make her way to the another suitcase. From there she found her clothes, hoodies, jeans, underwear, and personal stuff, like THE books. Then she looked at me, with very concerned expression.
"I really don't have a clue what's going on.." she said, and she bit her lower lip. Then her expression lit up, and she looked me into eyes.
".. Fuji.. what state it was again, that we're staying?.." she said quietly. Why did it make different? I glanced at the paper again, and gasped. Washington.
Then I looked at Lucie again, and whispered: "Washington.. do you think that?.."
I didn't get change to end my sentence, when we both ran to the window and shove the curtains from the way.
It was raining out side, and there was straight sight line to the road from the window. Around the house were very, very green. I mean REALLY green. Only in one place in earth it could be that green and rainy...
Just when I was about to squeal in delight, there was a knock at the door. We glanced each others, and said at the same time: "Who's there?"
"It's just Mike", a young male voice said outside the door. I felt my jaw drop to floor, and from corner of my eye, I saw Lucie grinning evilly. While I was still trying to compose myself, Lucie speak up, "Oh, sorry, can you wait for a minute? We just need to get dressed first".
In my mind, I could imagine what was going trough that young boy's hormonal mind. Oh, Luci, you're just plain evil.
We both get dressed, I was wearing my favorite part of jeans and blue tank top. When Lucie was almost ready, I remembered what was weather in Forks like, and grasped my black hoodie with text "Twilight" on it.
When Lucie opened the door, we couldn't stop ogling Mike. He was just like Stephenie Meyer, or, just like Bella described. I could still see a lot of kid in his boyish features, and he was kind of cute. And because we both knew who he was, it stayed in "Kind of cute" level.
"Oh, hi", he greeted and looked with a little bit amazed expression first at Lucie, and then at me. "You two seem to know the weather here in Forks already", he pointed out and then smiled at both of us. Forks. I couldn't help it, a stupid grin spread across my face from idea of really, really being here.
Mike looked curiously at me, but when he noticed that I noticed him staring, he awkwardly moved his gaze to Lucie. He looked like he was going to say something, but Lucie make it first.
"So, Mike.. Sorry, I just can't remember.. What was your last name again?" Lucie said and sheepish smile spread across her face. Mike studied her expression, trying to find a sign to say "I was just kidding! Of course I remember so handsome guy's like your's last name!".
When he realize that she wasn't joking (which actually isn't true, Lucie is just so good actor that she even bluffs me sometimes, but not now), his smile fade a little.
"Newton, Mike Newton."
Well, I we really didn't believe it earlier, we have to believe it now: we were in Forks. And we just talked to a fictional character!
-----------------------
Chapter 3: "OMC, it's stupid shiny Volvo owner!"
After a brief and maybe a bit awkward silent, Mike told us about his plans. He was going to movies to Port Angeles with some friends of his (perhaps Tyler and Eric, hah), and asked if we wanted to join him. Because I was still a little shocked about idea being in Mike Newton's house, Lucie was quick enough to compose herself and kindly decline the invitation by telling him that we wanted some time to adjust to new environment. Our plans were simple; we wanted to look around little bit and maybe go to downtown.
The look on Mike's face was little disappointed, but he agreed and told us that it was free for us to walk around. Mike gave us directions to town, and suprized us with the fact that we had a car with us, because we really didn't have a car at home (hello, we're from finland. People don't get their driver's licenses until they're 18 years old). He also gave us his phone number, in case we needed help or got lost in Forks. That made us giggle slightly, who could get lost in Forks?
After little discussion about house's rules; we were free to eat anything we wanted from the kitchen, and the keys for our car and to the house were at kitchen table, Mike went away, and left us, two very joyous Twilight fans to Newton's house.
I looked at Lucie, she was smiling so widely that if her smile would widen a little more, she would hurt very badly. I was almost sure, that absolutely same smile was at my face too.
"Fuji...", she sang, and motioned me to follow her. We walked out of the room, to the hallway, and make our way to the kitchen. It was almost ordinary house, not even close to something fine as Cullen's maybe had, but it was quite clean for a house where somebody was really living. I bet it was just the fact that Mrs. Newton was little too excited about cleaning.
My eyes shiftet from the kitchen's decorating to the table, where was two pair of keyechains. Each keychain had two keyes in it; key for the Newton's home, and key for our car.
I grapped one of them, and Lucie took the second one. We stared at each others eyes for a long time, and then we both squeled in delight.
"Oh my Carlisle, do you think.." Lucie started, but I cut her off, ".. that maybe they are here also?"
For a moment, we just squaled again and jumped up and down. Then both of us took a deep breath, and set the keys to our pockets.
"Oh, well, we just need to find out!", Lucie said. My thoughts were running wild: could it be possible? If Mike Newton is real here, where we are, they should be too?
"Are we going to eat breakfast?", Lucie interrupted my thoughts. She didn't wait for me to answer, she just walked around the kitchen and managed to find a packed of cereal from one of the cabinets, and then took milk from the fridge. I just stared at her, how could she be so calm in the moment like this?
She set two bowl of cereals to the table, and then sat down. I copied her.
Luci, what are you thinking? I don't understand how you can be so calm..., I thought and looked at her.
She gasped, and raised her gaze from the cereals.
"What did you say?", she breathed. Her eyes were shocked, and still I saw a little bit happiness and awareness in her eyes.
"I didn't say anything", I said, and frowned. Why did she look at me like that?
"Are you sure?", she said, and studied my expression. Then she grinned, and I saw her concentrate at something.
'Fuji, can you hear me?', Lucie said, and I gasped. She didn't move her lips. Did she just talked to me, through her thoughts?
'Um, yeah?', I thought, trying to concentrate to answer to her mind. We just stared, and then she screamed so loudly, that I almost fell of my seat.
"FUJI!!", she squeled, and then took a deep breath. I was ogling her, and I had to admit, I was little shocked. She grinned very widely, and then spoke.
"I think we have some kind of powers! We can talk trought our minds!" Okay, now I was truly shocked. Did she just said that?
"Are you sure?", I asked in disbelief.
'Hell yeah!', she screamed in my head and I winced.
'Do you need to scream? That really gives me headache', I though to her, and she just laughed.
'Do you think we could read everybody's minds just like Edward can?', she pondered, and I shrugged.
'Well, we could just find out!', she tought, and I nodded to agree.
After we finished our cereals, we got our shoulder bags from "our room", filled them with Twilight-books, and headed to outside.
It was drizzling little, but it wasn't too cold so we dind't took our jackets. We stopped right on our tracks, when we saw shiny, black BMW parked right outside.
'Is that our car?', I thought to Lucie, shocked.
She looked at me, and grinned. 'Yes, I think it is.'
'Oh, well. I bet even Cullen's will be jealous about that!', I thought to her, and then laughed. But then I remembered, that we were supposed to drive that car. Gah, we didn't even have a driver's license!
'Luci.. Can you drive a car?', I thought to her, and she smiled sheepish smile.
'Well, I have drove a few times near our summer cottage, and I do have a scooter back home', she thought, and I smiled.
"Well, in that case, you can drive!", I said, and laughed to her expression. She looked a little shocked, and then pouted.
"Oh you..", she said, but then grinned, and we got in the car.
To our amazement, she didn't have any troubles with driving. It took a while for us to get to the downtown, and we parked outside a little café.
I stepped out of the car, and Lucie followed. We observed every little detail of our surroinding, and then stepped inside the café. It was really small, but there was enough space for us to like it, the whole café was almost empty. We took a table beside the window, and sat down.
I took my wallet out of my bag, and so did Lucie. I glanced her, and just when I was going to open my mouth to speak, she cut me off.
'When the waitress arrives, lets try our theory', she thought to me, and I nodded.
Just right then, waitress walked to us. She looked very kind, and she was already smiling to us. I took a look at her, and I instantly recognize her, she was Angela Weber. Just right Bella described, she seemed to be really friendly. She smiled to us, and then spoke.
"Hey, I'm Angela, waitress here. Would you like to order something?" Lucie and I smiled to her, and we glanced to each others.
"Oh, sure. Can I have a caffeine-free latte?", Lucie said. Angela smiled to her, and then turned to me.
"Uh, I take same as Lucie", I said, trying to cover my enthusiasm. I had always really liked Angela in the books, and now when I can really meet her, I wanted to get know to her.
'Could we talk with her? I mean, if she doesn't have any other clients', I thought to Lucie, and out of corner my eye, I saw her nod.
Angela smiled to us, and then went to get our lattes. It didn't took long.
"Here you are!", she said and handed us our lattes. I didn't want her to go yet, so I cleared my throat, and then said, "So, You're Angela? Angela Weber?"
She looked at me, little shocked. Then she nodded, and was going to say something, but Lucie cut her off. "Newton told us about you", she explained, and Angela smiled to us.
"So you two are the exchange students from...", she started, but couldn't remember our home country's name. We laughed a little to that, and then smiled to her.
"Finland, we're from Finland", Lucie said and Angela smiled, little embarrassed. Then she went silent, and clearly thought about something. I tried to concentrate to her mind.
'I wonder.. Jessica is going to be really jealous to them.. Should I introduce them to her?', I head her thinking, and I glanced to Lucie. She was grinning a little, and I was sure that she just heard the same as me.
"Are you the only waitress here?", Lucie questioned, and Angela jumped a little.
"Uh, no.. There's another one...", she started, but couldn't finish her sentence, when another girl appeared aside her. She was tiny, several inches shorter than us, and she had dark curly hair. I recognized her too, she was Jessica Stanley.
"Hi, I'm Jessica. I just happen to hear your conversation. You two are exchange students?", she explained with a fake smile. While she was glaring to Lucie, I tried to read her mind too.
'Uh, that one looks like she could get all men in the Earth! Gah, I must do something.. If they're living at Mike's place..', I heard her thinking. Lucie probably heard that too. I couldn't help, I started to giggle. Jessica glared at me.
"Sorry, I just thought, that I really can see why Mike likes you", I said, trying to cheat her to think that Mike likes us only in the 'nice-friend'-way. That lit her expression, and this time her smile was real. "Did he really talk about me?", Jessica asked in disbelief, but I saw some pride in her expression too.
"Yeah", Lucie said, more convincing than me. I just smiled, and she giggled.
"So, I guess we see in school?", I said, and we rise from our seats. I handed Angela payment from our lattes, and then we just make our way outside, leaving the two fictional characters standing inside the cafe.
When we were outside, we both cracked up. We laughed the whole way to our car, and just when I was going to get inside the car, I froze.
Shiny silver volvo drove pass us, really fast. We couldn't see who was driving it, but I'm sure that we both already knew.
When the biggest shock was gone, we get inside the car. Lucie broke the silent first.
"Do you think it was him?", she said in disbelief. I shrugged, and then answered, "I really think there's only one silver volvo in place like Forks.."
We glared to each others, and then squeled. 'This is going to be the best year ever..'
--------------------------
Chapter 4: "Forks High School, here we come!"
The next day went fast. We didn't actually do anything particular, we just read the whole twilight saga again, and practiced our mindreading powers. We discovered, that we could only hear people's thoughts when we wanted, and as opposed to Edward, we didn't have any problems with blocking them out. We tried to remember all details of the first book, and some fact things about people, especially Cullens. Also, we tried to search information about Twilight by Mike's computer, but we didn't find anything. Strange, you may think. But to us, it made sense. If Twilight really had been published in "this world", like we called it, I bet Cullen's wouldn't be living here right now.
Monday morning we woke up before Newton's. When we were eating breakfast, Mr. Newton walked to the kitchen, and saw us.
"Oh, you two are up early", he said and glanced at the clock. Then he just shrugged, drank a cup of cafe, and left work. Same thing repeat itself when Mrs. Newton came to kitchen, but before she could left, tired Mike came to room. He walked to the coffee machine, but then froze when he saw us. He really didn't remember that there was two teenager girls in his house. So he blushed a little, took a cup of coffee, and left the room.
Mrs. Newton giggled, said goodbye to us, and left to work.
'Mike and Newton's really creep me out', Lucie thought, and I nodded. We decided to left to school little earlier than normally, so we get our stuffs, yelled goodbyes to Mike, and stepped outside.
The weather was just like we had expected, little drizzle, but not cold. No, this wasn't near the weather you have normally get used to, freezing cold and snow when was winter..
During the ride to School, we made a plan. We decided not to talk anybody about the books, and that we wanted to be behind the story at first and not steal attention from Bella.
That really was the hardest part. When we parked our car and stepped outside, everybody (I mean, those who was already at school, there wasn't so many, but still, everybody of those people!) were staring us, our shiny BMW, and Lucie. I laughed in my mind to Lucie, and she just told me to shut up.
So, we walked to the building where read "Front office", and stepped inside. Again, it was just like Bella has described. Inside the office was Mrs. Cope, and again, just like Bella described.
When she first noticed us, she smiled a little, and then stared at Lucie. Gah, why everybody stares at her? Then she looked at me, and smiled more.
"You must be the new exchange students", she pointed out and then search our schedules from her table. She handed them to us, explained some things, and gave us the map of Forks High School. Then she explained us the "take each teachers sign to this slip, and bring it back to me at the end of school day"-thing. We smiled to her, and left the office.
While walking back to our car, we heard a loud engine roaring, and we saw Bella parking her car next to Front office. I looked at Lucie, and she was grinning.
'This means, we're at beginning of Twilight', she pointed out in her thoughts, and I smiled a little to this. So, we are maybe going to hear Jessica's famous speech about Cullen clan.
Before the first class began, we had noticed that we had only one two classes with Bella, the Biology and Gym. Well, that was good enough, because Edward was at biology too! Lucie and I had equally same schedules, and I was glad about that.
First classes went fast, although everybody was staring at me and Lucie. Hah, Bella sure was right about one thing; everybody seemed to eavesdrop every conversation if we talked something. Occasionally, we exchange some words with Mike and one time also Jessica. Lucie and I were walking to cafeteria with Mike, when I first saw them. Because I thought that last part on purpose for Lucie, she grinned a little, and after that, we just stared them while walking.
Cullens were sitting in the corner of the cafeteria. Edward stared at the wall, and I knew what he was thinking, because of Midnight Sun (book with Edward's point of view). We sat down at the table with Mike, and I paid no attention to anybody except Cullens and Lucie.
Lucie stared at me for a moment, and then thought to me 'Try to read his thoughts'.
I agreed to her in my mind, and shifted my gaze to Edward.
'He has to hunt tonight, it's ridiculous to take risks like this, trying to test his strength, to build his endurance. Jasper should just accept his limitations and work with them..'
I almost gasped out loud, but then I remembered that they could hear it. His voice was so beautiful.
When I heard a sound of moving chair near us, I shifted my gaze. Bella sat at our table, beside Jessica. She looked very uncomfortable when she glanced around the table. Everybody at the table introduce their self, including us.
"I'm Fuji", I said and looked at her brown chocolate eyes. Lucie smiled a little when Bella looked at her. "Lucie", Lucie said, but I was sure that Bella didn't point attention to our names. I bet she already forgot them.. No, I knew that she already forgot them.
Then she started to stare at the Cullen's. I smiled to Lucie, and she laughed in her thoughts.
"Who are they?", Bella asked Jessica. Jessica looked up to see what she meant, but like Bella, I saw that Jessica already knew who she was talking about. I also noticed that Edward glared at Jessica, then Bella, and then shifted his gaze back to his siblings. Jessica giggled, and I saw clearly through her fake kindness.
"That's Edward and Emmett Cullen, and Rosalie and Jasper Hale. The one who left was Alice Cullen; they all live together with Dr. Cullen and his wife", Jessica said under her breath.
I moved my gaze to Edward, because I knew that he would start talking to his siblings.
"Jessica Stanley is giving the new Swan girl all the dirty laundry on the Cullen clan", he murmured, and to my amazement, I heard him saying it. I was shocked, but I decided to play calm. I moved my gaze to shocked Lucie, and thought 'Did you heard him too?'.
'Yes, this is very strange.. But, now we can spy them more easily', She thought to me and we both grinned. Again I focus on hearing Edward at the corner of the cafeteria.
"Rather unimaginative, actually. Just the barest hint of scandal. Not an ounce of horror. I'm a little disappointed", Edward whispered to Emmet with his vampire-speak.
I looked to Edward and I saw his annoyed expression when he tried to read Bella's mind.
"Which one is the boy with the reddish brown hair?", I heard Bella ask Jessica, sneaking a look at Edward from the corner of her eye. Edward noticed of course, and Bella looked quickly away when she saw that Edward was still staring at her.
I was truly amused about this situation, Edward couldn't read Bella's mind, but still he didn't notice that we knew everything about him. I was quite sure that he couldn't read our mind, because I knew that in this point, when he was trying to hear Bella mind, he was listening other peoples toughts ass well, and he didn't point attention to our thoughts.
Rest of the lunch went normally, according to the book. We left the table before Bella, because we had Biology, and we wanted to be sure that it was Bella who sat next to Edward.
When we walked inside the biology class, almost every table was full. There was only one empty table, and then one seat next to Edward, and one seat next to Angela's partner. We made our way to Mr. Banner, and he signed our slips and gave us our books.
"You can sit at the empty table at back of classroom", Mr. Banner said and pointed the table. We thanked him, and went to our table.
I sneaked a glance to Edward, who didn't pay attention to us. Good, because this day was for Bella and him. When Angela and Bella came to class, I couldn't help grinning to Lucie. She smiled to me and took a look at Edward.
'I'm sure that Edward will be very angry if he finds out that we didn't to anything to this..', Lucie thought to me, and I nodded.
'But we can't change the story.. I mean, we can't change the story, yet!', I thought, and then laughed in my mind.
Rest of biology went just like in the book. Edward went very rigid at his seat, and when bell rang, he ran out of class. Bella's expression was so funny that I couldn't help, I had to chuckle.
When Mike escorted Bella to Gym, we just followed behind. They clearly didn't notice us, because Bella was thinking Edward, and Mike was thinking Bella.. Hah.
Coach Clapp gave the only uniform left to Bella, so we just get to watch the game like Bella. We didn't want her attention, no, not yet, so we stayed out of her way. We left the gym before Bella, because we didn't want to interrupt her and Edward's Front Office-scene. Lucie was little too excited about seeing Edward in any minute, and so was I.
When we entered the Front office, to our disappointment, Edward was no where to found. We gave our slip to Mrs. Cope, and made our way to out. Just when we stepped outside, I almost run into him. Edward was outside the door, little shocked about not hearing our thoughts and knowing that we were going to open the door. I glanced at Lucie, and she was almost as shocked as I. Edward compose himself quickly, and entered the office. Lucie and I just shrugged, and we made our way to car.
"Do you think that he suspects anything?", Lucie said when she was driving the car to Newton's house.
"I really don't know.. I didn't pay attention to his mind", I said and sighed. It really was hard to concentrate on somebody's mind when the somebody was fictional character, and THE Edward Cullen.
"We need to practice more", Lucie said, and I just simply nodded. This was going to be hard week.
--------------------------------
Chapter 5: "A day with the Cullens"
When we next day made our way to the school, we had planned what to do. Because Edward was in Denali, we could speak to the other Cullens without him knowing. We decided to speak first to Alice, because if she would saw us speaking with somebody else, she might tell everybody, and ruin the fun.
Also, because Alice and us had the same English class before lunch. Morning went very slowly. Few students were brave enough to came talk to us, and some of them even knew where Finland was. Lucie and I were very amused about idea of not knowing difference between Finland and German.
At the break before English class, Lucie and I went trought our plan once more.
'So, when we go to class, and Alice comes, we just throw her a note?', I questioned Lucie who was grinning.
'Yeah, we can talk throught our toughts so we know what to write', she tought. I nodded, and we headed to class.
Alice was sitting a table near the window, looking outside. There was one free table behind her, and one beside that free table. Lucie took the table behind Alice, and I took the table beside Lucie. Our teacher wasn't in the room yet, so Lucie decided to act. She tear a page of her notebook, and took her pencil to her hand.
'I will wrote... "Alice, don't freak out. We don't know if you saw this coming, but we know everything about you and your family. Don't ask how." Is that okay?', she thought and looked at me. I nodded.
Lucie throw the note to Alice's table, and to our suprise, she looked little shocked.
Alice read the note, little too fast for human, and then looked to Lucie. Lucie just smiled a little, and glanced to me. I was looking to Alice, who frowned, and then wrote something to paper. She throw it to my table.
I decided to read it in my thoughts. ' "What do you exactly know?" Ah, Alice decided to not admit.. Well, what do I write?', I thought to Lucie, and out of corner my eye, I saw her smile.
'Well, how about knowin what they are? And.. hm, powers. Do you think we should tell her about her past?', Lucie tought.
'Okay, but her past, I don't think it's a good idea', I answered.
'Okay, now, write, she is suspicious already', Lucie said and we looked at Alice, trying to read her toughts.
'Should I call Edward about this? He could come back and read their minds.. Oh my, what if Volturi send them?', I heard her thinking, and I sighned.
'Well, we know about what you are, and we know some personal stuff too. We know your powers, and things like that. And no, we're not sent from Volturi. And yes, we just read your mind.', I wrote, and threw the note back to her. She read it, this time a little slower, and her face went blank. I was just thinking that maybe she went to shock, but then teacher came to class. Alice woke up from her thoughts, wrote something at the note, and throw it to Lucie.
' "Let's speak at lunch" Yay, we can finally talk to them!', Lucie thought, and she was clearly excited about it.
The lunch finally came, and we stepped out of class. Alice glared at us, then spoke, "Go outside. I will go get them."
Lucie and I looked to each other, and then nodded. Alice walked gracefully away.
We walked outside, and we noticed a bench, so we decided to sit. After while, Alice walked in front of us. Beside her was Jasper, with an odd expression, but when he was a little closer, he relaxed. Beside Jasper was Emmet, who looked more curious than angry. And then, gorgeous Rosalie, who, I think, really just broke my self-esteem. Rosalie was glarin at Lucie, and then me. Rosalie snorted, and then spoke, vampire speed to her siblings: "Do you really think these humans know anything about us?"
"Yes, Rosalie, we do", Lucie spoke, and I heard several gasps from the vampires.
"Okay, creepy. How did they do that?", Emmett spoke, now little concerned.
"We don't really know. We just have these powers, and .." I began, but then looked at Lucie. She was thinking something, and then she turned to me.
'Maybe we should tell them that we're from different world or something?', she thought, and I nodded.
"Okay, we know this sounds very weird. But we kind of came from a different world to here", I spoke and looked to expressions of Cullens.
Alice was looking in disbelief first at Lucie, and then me, and then again Lucie. Jasper was unusually relaxed, wich was odd. Didn't he have any problems with our blood?
Emmett looked extremely amused, and Rosalie just looked annoyed.
"But, Alice, didn't you saw us coming or anything?", Lucie said with thoughtful expression. Alice blinked, and then said: "No, actually, I can't see your future at all."
"Oh..", Lucie said, and then turned to me. I just shrugged.
"Alice, don't tell me that you really believe them!", Rosalie yelled to Alice and took a step closer. That earned very angry glare from Lucie. She never liked Rosalie, and Alice was her favorite female character from Cullens family.
"Rose,.. SHUT UP!", Lucie yelled, and took a step closer too. Rosalie glared at her in disbelief.
"Excuse me, what did you just say?", she said. Lucie sighned, and looked at Rosalie.
"Just because you hate humans, and you don't want to move again, you don't need to always be the one who yells", Lucie said calmly, and took a look at Alice. Alice was grinning widely, and so was Emmett and Jasper.
"Their emotions.. they're not lying to us", Jasper said to Alice, and Alice nodded. She looked at us, and then said: "Well, would you like to come to our house? I'm sure that--", she didn't get a change to finish her sentence because Lucie and I squeled.
"Yes! We can see their house!", Lucie cried, and we jumped up and down. Jasper and Emmett looked very amused, Rosalie was just angry, and Alice was smiling and maybe thinking about going shopping with us.
I stopped jumping, and then looked at Alice. "Uh, are you sure that it won't bother you? It would be really nice to meet Carlisle.. and Esme too", I said and tried to control my enthusiasm. For a little time there was a shocked expression in Alice's face, probably about knowing her parents names, but then it changed to smile.
"Of course not! We could go right now", Alice chirped, and then turned to look to Emmett and Rosalie. "You two, go to Mrs. Cope and tell that Carlisle needed to talk to them, I'm sure you'll make up something", Alice said. Emmett nodded, smiled to us, and then dragged Rosalie with him.
Lucie and I were grinning widely, and already wiggling. Alice chuckled, and lead us to her car.
When we sat at backseat of car, and Jasper started to drive to Cullen's house, I couldn't help myself. "Jasper... Don't you have problems with our scent?", I said, and he turned aroudn to look at us. He frowned, and looked at Alice, and then said, "No, not really. You don't smell appetizing.. It's like, you don't have a scent like rest of the humans, and it's not either a scent like us.." Well, that was weird.
"Oh", Lucie and I said, and turned to look out of window. It really was green here in Forks, but it didn't bother us. We loved to be here, so we even liked the rain.
Before Jasper even stopped the car, Lucie and I were fidgetting in our seats. We jumped out of the car, and gasped.
"Wow, it's better than I never imagined..", I said out loud, and grinned to Lucie. She was almost drooling.
Alice laughed to our expressions, and we all stepped inside the house. We didn't had time to look around when Esme already was in front of us. She looked little worried, and glanced to Alice and Jasper who were smiling little. Esme relaxed little, but the worried expression came back when Rosalie stalked to house, amused Emmett behind her. Rosalie glared at us, and Esme shifted her gaze to us.
"Hello, my name is..", she started, smiling, but we cut her off.
"Esme", I said and smiled. "We know", Lucie giggled, and then smiled widely. Esme's expression was really bemused, and little shocked. I heard Emmet's booming laugh beside us.
"Those girls sure are very creepy", he said, and then chuckled. I smiled to this, but then frowned.
"Uh, did anybody call to Carlisle? I don't know how long we can be here before Newtons starts to freak out", I said, and then looked to Alice. Alice just smiled.
"He will be here in any minute", Alice said and lead us to living room. Lucie and I sat to very comfortable couch. I was going to say something, but Emmett make it first.
"Wait a minute, did you just say "Newtons"?", he said, chuckling.
Lucie and I had to laugh for that. We had know that somebody would occasionally point out our hostfamily. Cullens looked us like we had three heads.
"Hah, sorry.. It's just the thing that.. It's really hilarious.. We ended up to live with Newtons.. they're our hostfamily", I said, trying to control my laugher. That just confused they more.
"Fuji is trying to say, that out of all people, we ended to same house as Mike Newton", Lucie said and snorted.
"Ah, okay..", Emmett said, and he clearly didn't understand anything. Just then, Carlisle opened the door and walked to livingroom. He's expression was clearly curious, and still it held some kind of wariness in it. Lucie and I couldn't help ourselves, we just stared at him. He clearly was the most gorgeous guy of Cullens, I had to admit.
For once, I was the one who first composed herself. I rised from the couch, and Lucie copied me.
"I'm Fuji, and that's Lucie. It's wonderful to finally meet you, Carlisle", I said and held out my hand for a handshake. Carlisle looked little shocked, but took my hand. His skin wasn't nearby as cold as I had expected, but it was hard like a granite.
Carlisle smiled little, and said, "It's nice to meet you too". Then he shook hands with widely grinning Lucie, and we all sat down.
"I heard that you know a lot about us", Carlisle began, and looked to me, and then to Lucie.
"Yes, you could say that", I admit, and shrugged.
"So, why don't you two tell about yourselves a little bit?", Carlisle said and his expression was clearly curious.
"Okay..", I started, and then looked at Lucie. 'You start', I thought to her, and she nodded.
"Well, our cover story is, that we're two exchange studens from Finland--", Lucie started, but was cut off by Emmett.
"Where's Finland?", He questioned and cocked an eyebrow.
"Gah, what's wrong with you american people!", I cried and sighned.
"Finland is that little spot between Sweden and Russia", Lucie said and laughed a little.
"I maybe know where it is", Alice chirped, and I rolled my eyes.
"Continue, please", Carlisle said and smiled.
"Yeah, and like I said, this whole exchange student thing really is cover story. We really don't know how we ended up to Newton's house, but we don't really care. As long as we can get out of there before I lose my nerves..", I said and grimaced.
"Wait a minute, what do you mean 'you don't know?'", Carlisle asked, dumbfounded.
"Yes, we don't know! Last friday, we we're at my house, in Finland, and next morning we woke up at Newtons house, and there was this paper wich said "You two are chosen to be exchange students and blaa blaa blaa, we hope you enjoy your year in Washington!". We both were little shocked, but after that, we found out that we're at Forks, Washington, and then we were just so glad that it happened!", Lucie explained, and all the Cullens looked shocked, and then just really confused.
"Why on the earth were you glad about being at Forks?", Emmett spoke, more confused than anyone.
"Well, because after that, we just knew that we really aren't here because exchange student year", Lucie explained, and still everybody looked confused.
"Well dah, we're here to meet you guys!", I chirped, and giggled little.
It was very awkward silence. We broke it, because we both cracked up. We laughed so hard that I almost fell of the couch.
"We really don't understand.." Carlisle said, and frowned. I smiled, and then sighned.
"Well, let's just say that we know almos everything about you. We know some stuff from your past, and some stuff from your future.. If we're not going to screw it", Lucie said and grinned.
"How is that possible?", Carlisle asked, but before anybody could answer, Rosalie rise from her seat.
"Carlisle, do you really believe those two?!", she yelled, and then glared to us. I frowned, and then said, "Rosalie, do you need proofs?".
She thought about it for a moment, and then said, "yes."
"Okay, but we tried to warn you... Well, lets start with Carlisle. Carlisle Cullen, born at London, somewhere around 1940. Carlisle's dad lead the persecution of witches, werewolves, and vampires. Carlisle himself wasn't so eager to see devil in people, but he definitely was smarter than his dad. He found a nomad vampire who was living in the London sewers. Well, Carlisle was bitten, and he dragged himself away from people. After three day's living hell, he noticed what he had become. So, first Carlisle tried to destroy himself. You know, jumping from great heigths, trying to drowning himself to ocean, and things like that. It was amazing that he was able to resist feeding when he was still so new. But he was so repelled by himself, that he had the strength to try to kill himself with starvation." Everybody except Lucie was gawking me now, but they didn't say anything, so I just continued.
"So he grew hungry, and eventually weak. He strayed as far as he could from the human populace, recognizing that his willpower was weakening too. For months he wandered by night, seeking the loneliest places, loathing himself. One night, a herd of deer passed his hiding place. He was so wild with thirst that he attacked without a thought. His strenght returned, and he realized there was an alternative to being the vile monster he feared. Had he not eaten venison in his former life? Over the next months his new philosophy was born. He could exist without being a demon. He found himself again.
He began to make better use of his time. He'd always been intelligent, eager to learn. Now he had unlimited time before him. He studied by night, planned by day. He swam to France and continued through europe, to the universities there. By night he studied music, sience, medicine - and found his calling, his penace, in that in saving human lives.
I can't adequately describe the struggle; it took Carlisle two centuries of torturous effort to perfect his self-control. Now he is all but immune to scent of human blood, and he is able to do the work he loves withouth agony.
He was studying in Italy when he discovered the others there. They were much more civilized and educated than the wraiths of the London sewers, they were the Volturi", I said, and stopped for the dramatic pause.
"Aro, Caius, Marcus. Solemena was greatly inspired by Carlisle's "friends". He often painted them as goods", I had to chuckle. "And they're still there. As they have been for who knows how many millennia. Carlisle stayed with them for only for a short time, just a few decades. He greatly admired their civility, their refinement, but they persisted in trying to cure his aversion to "his natural foor source", as they called it. They tried to persuade him, as he tried to persuade them, to no avail. At that point, Carlisle decided try the New World. He dreamed of finding others like himself. He was really lonely, you see..." I had to sigh, it was little tiring to tell them this story they already knew. I looked around, and all the Cullens had very shocked expression on their faces.
I grinned a little, glanced to Lucie who was grinning too, and said, "So, do you need me to continue?"
I think Carlisle was the most shocked about me knowing all this, he just stared at me for a little time, and then said, "How do you know all that?"
Before I could speak, Emmett chuckled, "That really was creepy speech". That earned a smack from Rosalie, and laugh from Jasper and Alice.
"Well, Emmett was actually right", Lucie said, giggling. I glared at her, and then sighned.
"Okay, okay.. I wanted to learn it by hearth because it was so intresting", I murmured, embarrassed, and glared the floor.
To my amazement, Carlisle just chuckled. I lifted my gaze, and saw that he was looking at me. I blushed scarlet. That made everybody laugh, even Rosalie and epecially Lucie. I sighned, and then nudged Lucie beside me. She saw me glaring at her with my "I SHALL GET MY REVENGE"- expression, so she went silent and gulped.
'If you ever never do that again, I will tell them about your room wich is plastered with pictures of Jasper...', I tought to her and narrowed my eyes. She gasped.
"My room is not plastered with pictures of Jasper!!", she cried, but then clasper her hand in front of her mouth. Okay, that made me crack up, and like it did for Emmett too. I was shaking with laughter, but then Lucie nudget me, and it hurt.
"Auts! Tuo oli törkeetä, mä en lyöny noin kovaa!" (It was Finnish, so in english; "Ow, that was unfair! I didn't hit you that hard!"), I cried, and then noticed that everybody was gawking at me.
"Uh, sorry. It's still hard for us to speak english all the time..", I stated, and smiled sheepishly.
Everybody, except Lucie, was staring me curiously. "What? Did you think we speak English in Finland?", I said, and chuckled.
It was Carlisle who first composed himself, "So, you really are from Finland?", he spoke. I shrugged to that. "Yeah, but not from "this world's" Finland", Lucie said, but then looked at Carlisle, with her eyebrow cocked.
"Carlisle just means that your english is so good that we didn't even notice", Alice explained and smiled to us. "Oh, thanks, I guess...", I said. Then my cell phone started to ring with "Supermassive black hole" by Muse. Embarrassed, I took it from my bag and answered to it.
"Hello", I said and glanced to Lucie.
"Hey, it's Mike", Mike said on the other side of the line. "Mom and dad are just freaking out because you two aren't here, so do you have some kind of explanation?"
"Uh, waith a minute..", I said to phone, and covered it with my hand. "Do you mind if we just tell them the truth? About being here, I mean..", I wishpered.
"Of course not, just leave out the some facts", Alice chirped and I grinned.
"Ummh, we're at the Dr. Cullen's house with Alice", I said to the phone.
"Cullens? Oh....", Mike went all silent, and that earned a chuck from Lucie.
"Well, mom was just pondering if you're coming back here for the dinner", Mike said, irritation clearly at his voice.
"Uh, well, we'll be there within an hour", I said and sighned. I closed the phone, and looked to Cullens. "Well, I bet you all heard him", I admitted and shrugged. Lucie grimaced to me, but then smiled to Cullens.
"Why is it so horrible to live in Newtons house?", Emmett questioned and stared us.
"Well, let's just say that.. You wouldn't want to hear Mike's thoughts", I said, and both Lucie and me shuddered.
"Thank god's for that blocking thing", Lucie said with smile. Emmett stared us with disbelief, while Carlisle was again very curious, "So you can read minds?", he asked.
"Yeah, both Luci and I. We can talk to each others in our minds, it really helps sometimes", I admitted and smiled.
"Yep, and we don't need to work hard to block anybodys toughts like Edward", Lucie added. That earned and chuckle from Emmett, rest of them was just staring us, again. "Prove it. You two, read my mind", he said and grinned evilly.
I glanced at Lucie, and she just shrugged. I focused on Emmett's mind, and fall of the couch, banging the floor with my hand, and crying.
'I'm a barbie girl, in the barbie world, Life in plastic, It's fantastic', was Emmett's toughts.
Carlisle jumped up from his seat, and walked beside me, concerned. "What's wrong?", He asked, little hesitant.
"... no... no... NO THE BARBIE GIRL SONG!! Now it will take forever to get it out of my mind!", I cryed, and rolled at the floor in mocked pain. Everybody laughed for that, expect Carlisle, who still looked little concerned. I rise from the floor, and wiped the tears from my eyes. I sniffed, and glared at Emmett with my famous "I SHALL GET MY REVENGE!"-look. That even made Emmett to flinch a little.
".. oh, you'll see.... maybe Edward will help me.. perfect revenge... hah, I will bet for Bella..", I muttered under my breath, and grinned evilly. Bella's name got everybody's attention.
"Bella?", Alice said in disbelief. Oh, crap, I just told them something from future.. Well, who cares!
"Yeah, Bel-la Swa-n." That made Lucie to hit me hard, again. And again, everybody's eyes were at me. I sighned.
"Sorry, we can't tell you anything about future.. except..", I said and shiftet my gaze to Esme who was looking at me curiously, "Esme, don't worry. Edward will come back in the end of this week", I said an smiled to her. Then Lucie and I rise from the couch, and made our way to the hallway. Everybody, except Rosalie, followed.
"Well, I guess we'll see at school", Lucie said to Alice and others, when shifted his gaze to Carlisle and Esme, "and you, well, I'm sure we'll see later", she continued. Everybody nodded in agreement.
When I stepped outside, I heard Emmett saying; "Well, those are just very creepy girl's". I chuckled, and yelled back to them in mock anger; "I HEARD THAT!"

Chapter 6: Chocolate or Cake?
Rest of the week went quickly. At school, we talked to Alice and Cullens few times, and we asked them to block their minds from Edward, so we could suprise him. We really, really, wanted to meet Edward and personally introduce ourselves to him.
After coming from Cullens house, Mike was little suspicious about us. He wanted to know how we knew Cullens, but of course, we didn't tell him. Step by step, living at the Newton's house really started to irritate me, and we started to search a new apartment.
Fortunately we did find nice little house wich was - to our delight, only few miles away from school and surrounded by typical Fork's forest (nearest house was about half mile away). It was apartment of one big bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. It was enough for us.
It was friday when we moved to our new apartment. Gosh we were so lucky to find a vacant little house from such a small town as Forks! I was practically bouncing on my seat when Lucie drove our black, shiny BMW to our new home's front yard.
Lucie glanced at me as we stepped out of the car. "Fuji, calm down! It's just a house", she said and rolled her eyes. I looked at her in disbelief. Just a house? This was our first own apartment! .. Well, practically our own, it was rented for a year, but still!
I grapped my suitcase from trunk. "Sure, sure", I said, trying to keep a poker face, but failed when a stupid grin appered to my face. Lucie chuckled, because she knew exacly why I picked just those two words. I guess that everybody who was in Team Werewolf knew it..
That reminded me, 'When are we going to visit La Push?', I thought to her as we stepped inside our new apartment. It wasn't big, but it was already home to me. There was hallway wich lead to the kitchen, and before the kitchen was door to our bedroom. Bathroom was linked to our bedroom, so when you wanted to go there, you needed to go through bedroom. It didn't bother me, and I don't think it bothered Lucie too much either.
"Hummhh.. I really don't know. Do you think we should wait for that beach party where Bella goes too?", she stated after draggin her suitcase to bedroom. I thought about it for a moment, and then grinned widely. We're going to se Jacob! I quickly unpacked my suitcase. This house was blessing, the whole house was already decorated, so we didn't need to buy anything.
"Do you think we could speak to Jake when we're there?", I suggested as I made my way to kitchen. I peeked to the fridge, and of course it was empty. What did I expect?
I saw Lucie's head peek from the bedrooms doorway. "Yeah, I think it would be best. If we wait until his transformation, he may hate us. You know, we are kind of friends of vampires.."
I laughed, picked by backbag from the floor, and walked to the door. "I'm going to buy some food. Are you coming?", I said to Lucie, knowing that she could hear me. It was one of those strange things. Our hearing was as same level as vampires.
"Uh, you can go. But, buy me some chocolate, kay?"
-------
"Honey, I'm home!", I sang, chuckling, as I stepped through the door. I walked to the kitchen door, and froze, almost dropping my bags.
There, around our little kitchen table, sat three people. One of them was Lucie, of course. Another of them was middle-aged man, wich I automatically recognized to be Chief Swan. And the last one, was Bella. She was blushing scarlet, and I wondered why. Then I though about what I just said, and blushed myself too.
"Uh, sorry, I didn't know that we had company..", I muttered and placed the groceries to the table. Lucie was grinning widely, and I glared at her. Chief Swan rise from his seat, and smiled apologetic.
"It's nice to meet you. Fuji, right?", he said and held out his hand. I shook it, and grinned. "No, left", I joked, and both Bella and Charlie laughed. 'Neighbors, isn't this great?', Lucie thought, her mental tone very excited.
I cleared my throat, and smiled to Charlie. "Chief Swan, I guess you and Bella are our neighbors now?"
Charlie smiled and glanced at Bella. "Yes, and please, call me Charlie. We brought you some chocolate cake, but I think Lucie here already eated it...", Charlie trailed off and glanced at empty plate on top of the table.
"Ermm, Yeah. It was so delicious! And, you didn't event want it, right?", Lucie said while grinning evilly. I laughed, and out of corner my eye, I saw Bella smiling too.
Charlie glanced to his watch, and Bella rise from her seat. "It's time for us to go. I hope you like your new apartment, it was nice to meet you", Charlie said and made his way to door. Bella quet mumbled us byes, and followed her father. "See you Charlie! And Bella, see you at school", Lucie shouted and waved to bot of them.
While unpacking the groceries, I took the chocolate bar to my hands, and said, "Well, I guess I can eat this now when you eat the whole cake.."
Lucie yelped and grapped it out ot my hands. I laughed, "okay okay, eat your cholocolate..", I chuckled and continued fulling the fridge.
